Founded in 1993, Transparency International takes a clear stance against corruption in over 100 countries.
Transparency International Italia is committed to ensure that governments, institutions, businesses and public bodies adopt all the necessary tools to prevent corruption. Their mission is to raise awareness among citizens on the issues of transparency and legality.
Through a work of research and analysis, Transparency International Italia tries to understand where the most critical points are and what can be done to solve in collaboration with institutions and companies.

Croatian Journalists' Association (HND) - Stakeholders

Founded in 1910, the Croatian Journalists’ Association (HND) has more than 2500 members. Its main goals are to defend freedom of speech, freedom of information and journalists’ rights. In 2015, it also founded the Center for Freedom of Expression which provides pro bono legal services and education to journalists. The HND is member of the International Journalist Federation (IFJ).

Human Rights Centre - Stakeholders

The Human Rights Centre at the Faculty of Law and Criminology at Ghent University is an academic centre specialized in human rights law.

With a dynamic international team, counting many young researchers, the Centre has broad research and teaching expertise, covering international, regional, national and comparative law of human rights.

Human Rights Centre members work on a range of thematic issues, including legal pluralism, freedom of expression, gender, indigenous peoples’ rights, and the European Court of Human Rights. Members also actively engage with human rights practice by supervising clinical projects and submitting third-party interventions to the European Court of Human Rights.

Frontline Freelance Register - Stakeholders

The Frontline Freelance Register (FFR) is a representative body for freelance journalists, created for and run by freelancers. Founded on 7 June 2013, FFR is a member-driven ring-fenced initiative of the Frontline Club Charitable Trust.

The aim is to provide members with representation and a sense of community.

A community, a resource and a cause for freelancers, by freelancers.

Membership is open to all freelance journalists who are exposed to risk while working in foreign environments and who commit to the FFR Code of Conduct .

Prenons la Une - Stakeholders

Prenons la Une is an association of women journalists advocating for fair representation of women in the media and professional equality in newsrooms. The network provides support to women facing discrimination and harassment. The association provides training for women journalists and journalism students, offers legal support to journalists victims of harassment inside their newsrooms and organises events. It also realises investigations for a better representation of women in the media.

European Court of Auditors - Stakeholders

The European Court of Auditors (ECA) is the Union's external auditor. Through its audit work, the Court assesses the economy, effectiveness, efficiency, legality and regularity of EU action to improve accountability, transparency and financial management, thereby enhancing citizens’ trust.

The ECA publishes the results of its audit work in a variety of reports – annual reports, specific annual reports and special reports – depending on the type of audit. Other published products include opinions and review-based publications.

Associazione Stampa Romana - Stakeholders

The Associazione Stampa Romana is the Journalists Union for journalists who live in the region Lazio, in Italy.

It is affiliated with FNSI, the national Journalists Union.

It offers different forms of support, such as legal counseling, psychological support, and deals with gender-based issues, professional harassment, support to reach out to European funding.

Independent Journalism Center of Moldova - Stakeholders

The Independent Journalism Center (IJC) is one of the first media organizations in Moldova. It was founded in 1994 as a project of the Open World House, and in 1998 it became an independent organization.

Currently, the IJC defines its mission through the prism of democratic values by contributing to the consolidation of free and viable media — including new media — by means of training programs for journalists, media education, advocacy campaigns, research, and non-profit journalistic products. From a legal point of view, the IJC is a non-governmental, non-commercial, and apolitical organization.

Over the years, the IJC has launched and carried out various projects to improve both working conditions for journalists in Moldova and the national legal framework governing the media. Also, various actions have been conducted in support of press freedom or to strengthen the solidarity of the media community and to promote professional ethics.

Since February 2000, the IJC has been a member of the South East European Network for the Professionalization of the Media (SEENPM) and since June 2001 has been a member of the International Freedom of Expression eXchange (IFEX).

The IJC currently manages four portals: Media Azi which is used to publish media news, information about IJC activities, reports, and studies; Mediacritica, designed to promote media literacy and critical thinking; Moldova Azi, a multimedia resource providing access to all video materials produced by the IJC Campaign and Production Department; and the website of the School of Advanced Journalism.

MIDAS - Stakeholders

Founded in 2001, the European Association of Daily Newspapers in Minority and Regional Languages (MIDAS) stimulates cooperation in the areas of information exchange, printing and marketing within an ever-growing community of minority daily newspapers throughout Europe. MIDAS also provides opportunities such as study visit programmes for journalists to report on minority protection and cultural diversity in Europe; it awards the Otto Von Hasburg Prize and the Midas Prize for Journalism .

Electronic Frontier Foundation - Stakeholders

The Electronic Frontier Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in the US, aiming to defend civil liberties in the digital world. Founded in 1990, EFF champions user privacy, free expression, and innovation through impact litigation, policy analysis, grassroots activism, and technology development. It works to ensure that rights and freedoms are enhanced and protected as people's use of technology grows.
